The Association for Women in Communications Recognizes 2004 Clarion Award Winners and 2004 International Matrix Award
The Association for Women in Communications will present prestigious awards during the AWC Annual Professional Conference, October 6-9, 2004, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Clarion Awards will be presented at the 32nd Annual Clarion/Matrix Dinner, held the evening of Oct. 8th. The Clarion Awards recognize the small businesses, large corporations and communication specialists nationwide who demonstrate excellence in clear and concise communications.

Also being honored is Mary Lou Quinlan, recipient of the 2004 International Matrix Award. AWC presents this award to a communications professional for achieving the highest level of professional excellence and whose work exemplifies the founding principles and ideals of the association. Ms. Quinlan is founder of the strategic marketing company ‘Just Ask a Woman.’ She has advised dozens of clients, including General Motors, CitiGroup, and Estee Lauder to help them gain women’s attention and loyalty.
