(Individual)

Professional memberships
The following memberships are for communications professionals who are established in the industry.


EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATOR

For communication professionals with 10 years or more experience serving in executive, managerial or senior positions.
PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATOR

Open to professionals currently employed in communications disciplines or who hold a communications degree.
ENTREPRENEUR COMMUNICATOR

Open to freelancers or consultants in a communications discipline who are self-employed and have no employees.
RETIRED COMMUNICATOR

Open to retired communications professionals, age 62 or older (work less than 20 hours per week) or age 72 or older regardless of employment status.

$189 (plus $50 one-time application fee) + local chapter dues

Educational memberships
The following memberships are for faculty advisors, students and recent graduates of the communications field.


FACULTY ADVISOR

Complimentary membership for faculty members of accredited colleges or universities who serve as official advisors to chartered and active student AWC chapters. Must meet the other guidelines for AWC Professional membership.
STUDENT COMMUNICATOR

Open to women or men working full-time toward an undergraduate or a graduate degree and who demonstrate a commitment to a communications career. Expected graduation date and school name are required for validation.
NEW GRADUATE COMMUNICATOR

For women or men who graduated in the past year and demonstrate a commitment to a communications career. Must have graduated from college in the past 12 months. Graduation date and school name required for validation.
EMERGING COMMUNICATOR

For women or men who are in years two and three post graduation and demonstrate a commitment to a communications career. Graduation date and school name required for validation.

Membership Types
(Corporate)

For professionals currently employed in communications disciplines or who hold a communications degree. Corporate memberships must be purchased at either the Classic (three members) or Signature (five members) level.
 
Applications must be coordinated through a single contact who will receive renewal invoices and make sure the contact information for each remains up to date.

Annual Costs
Classic (three members) - $995 (plus a one-time $150 application fee) + local chapter dues
Signature (five members) - $1,895 (plus a one-time $250 application fee) + local chapter dues
