Welcome to the official website for the 2006 Association for Women in Communications' Annual Professional Conference. This is the place to find the latest information posted as soon as it is confirmed.
Here in the Heartland, Kansas City is "Communications Central: The Heart of It All." At this year's conference you'll find a jazzy blend of professional development, networking, and insights into trends and technology.
Whether you are a seasoned communicator or a young professional, the AWC Annual Professional Conference will give you timely information and introduce you to other colleagues with ideas to share.
The Conference will begin on Thursday evening with a welcome reception, followed by two days of professional development sessions with dynamite speakers and career-building direction, as well as networking with AWC members from all over the country.
The Conference will conclude on Saturday evening with the Clarion/Matrix Dinner where AWC presents the coveted Clarion awards to the best in the communications industry.
