2009 Clarion Competition Categories
Please note, several subcategories have changed.  Carefully review all categories and their subcategories before entering;  this ensures that you enter your work in the best fitting category.

Also, be sure to read through all entry submission guidelines to make sure that your entry is complete.  Entries that do not include all specified materials will be disqualified.

Category Requirements

ALL ENTRIES across all categories must:

  • Include entry form and payment
  • Include all supporting documentation in a binder or folder labeled with:
    1. Entrant name
    2. Category
    3. Subcategory
    4. Title of entry
  • Have appeared, aired, been presented, or published between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2008, unless otherwise noted
ALL ENTRIES across all categories must include the following supporting documentation (unless otherwise noted):
  • Synopsis detailing:
    • Rationale/purpose
    • Goals
    • Budget/costs (please indicate if budget is confidential)
    • Timeline
    • Audience
    • Applicable research
    • An evaluation
  • Sample Title page and Synopsis
Note: Individual subcategories will list additional requirements for supporting documentation of entries.
